Your frequently asked questions

All whole truckles have a use by of 6 weeks from date of despatch. All hand-wrapped wedges have a use by of 10 days from despatch. There are exceptions of Kern and Stithians which in vac-pack format have 6 weeks or more.

As the cheeses are handmade, sizes will vary slightly.

900g (Cornish Yarg, Garlic Yarg, Stithians) = diameter: 14cm, height = 10cm

1.6kg (Cornish Yarg, Garlic Yarg, Stithians) = diameter: 18cm, height = 8cm

3.2kg (Cornish Yarg) = diameter: 26cm, height = 8cm

We send all orders on a next day delivery courier service. The cheese is packed with ice and protective wood wool in a cardboard box.

You will receive a tracking email from the courier once the parcel has been collected from the dairy.

Our Cornish Yarg and Wild Garlic Yarg are suitable for vegetarians. Stithians and Kern are made using a traditional rennet and are not suitable for vegetarians.

Yes! We pasteurise all of our milk.

We carry most lines in stock all year round. You are able to place an order at any time and request your preferred delivery day up to 3 months in advance.

We do not send orders over weekends or bank holidays. Our usual despatch days are Monday-Thursday, and delivery days are Tuesday-Friday.
