Our Impact

As dairy manufacturers, we recognise our interdependence
with dairy farming and the environmental impacts of
associated farming practices. We are, therefore, joining the
exciting period of change in the dairy industry to address
these issues by catalysing a whole-business effort to reduce
our impact. This includes improving our energy and waste
efficiency, investing in renewable energy, and achieving
greater engagement and transparency with stakeholders in
our supply chain.
We have used Dairy UK’s Climate Ambition Roadmap*
as an industry benchmark to create our environmental
policy that outlines our commitments to reducing our
environmental impact of producing our high-quality
cheeses now, and in the future.
