Lynher Dairy is now B Corp Certified™️!

We are delighted to join the global community of businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental performance. This milestone is huge for us – and it builds on our 2024 King’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development. It’s been two years of hard work, learning, and growing, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far we’ve come.

The B Corp certification challenged us to look at everything – from how we source our products and use resources, to how we support our team and engage with the community. It’s been a process of turning our values into everyday actions, and it is fantastic to see our records recognised in such a meaningful way.

Here are just a few key highlights across the B Corp pillars that we’re most proud of:

1. We have updated our Articles of Association to make sure we are considering all our stakeholders in decision making.

2. We are a Real Living Wage employer, offering flexible working, extensive benefits, and career development opportunities.

3. We are sourcing locally, collaborating with local businesses and in 2024 we dedicated 100 hours to volunteering and remained deeply involved in our community outreach.

4. We have increased our use of renewable energy and ramping up our carbon reporting.

5. We have established comprehensive quality and assurance systems to make sure we’re delivering the best product to our customers.

Certifying as a B Corp is not the destination. It is a commitment to continuous improvement, and we’re excited to continue creating meaningful change that champions artisan cheesemaking, creates community, and celebrates people and Cornwall.
